You know, when the Powerball rolled out as a 4 and my best line was holding a 7, I couldn’t help but smile at the cosmic tease. Draw #745 on Saturday the 13th gave us 1, 9, 14, 23, 24, 35 with supplement 37 — a tidy spread that just didn’t want to sit next to any of my thirty lines. Eighteen main balls landed across the board, but not one line managed to pull three together. Line #26, my Balanced mix, was the pick of the bunch with two mains, and two lines did catch the bonus ball, which is something, I suppose. Honestly, it’s just one of those nights where luck wandered off for a cuppa. Here’s hoping next draw brings it back.
