Kia ora! You hit Copy, your clipboard is full of numbers. Now what? Here's your practical next-steps guide.

Step 1: Decide what to play

You don't have to buy all 30 lines! Use the copy count as a guide, or pick by strategy. My budget packs suggest: $5 → lines 1-7, $10 → lines 1-12 + 2 Powerball, and so on.

Step 2: Fill the slip

Take your numbers to any Lotto retailer. Mark your 6 numbers per line, decide on Powerball (+$0.80/line) or Strike. Remember: self-picked lines come in multiples of 4, minimum 4 lines.

Step 3: Set your spend

Know your total before you pay. Lines at $0.70 each add up fast - 30 lines is $21 before Powerball. Only buy what fits your budget.

Step 4: Keep the ticket safe

Sign it, photograph it, store it somewhere safe. Screenshot of the numbers is NOT a valid ticket - the physical or digital ticket from the retailer is what matters.

Step 5: Come back after the draw

That's the fun part - check the results and review your lines once the draw happens.
